King of the Roads 2024
In its second year the King of the Roads in Mylor Falmouth was looking like it might have no racing but the wind gods smiled and gave us a full days racing and results…
The faithful were rewarded with a full days racing at the second King of the Roads event in Mylor
In the run up to the event with the forecast changing its mind like a back bench MP we went from stoked to fearful and back again!
Coastland at Mylor is such a great location for racing that another year without wind would have been a real body blow.
But as the phrase goes if you don’t go you won’t know, and for those that made the trip and signed up their faith was rewarded with a full race schedule on Saturday and the only reason racing was brought to a close on Saturday was that the fleet were too fatigued to continue and retired to Cafe Mylor for some much needed food and of course Healey’s Rattler Cornish Cider.
