The BKSA Schools Adventure Project was created in conjunction with the Sport England Movement Fund to give young people the opportunity to experience something completely new within the school environment and introduce them to our amazing sports.

It’s been a busy few weeks delivering the pilot project over 5 days to hundreds of young people.
It was a huge success, measurable by the smiles on the faces of the young people participating as well as some fantastic feedback from the schools and parents

“Reward type things that are actually wanted by the students are not easy to come by as a school and this is one of the best we have had.”

“Students who don’t always find it easy to take part in traditional sports were really involved and enjoying themselves.”

A big thanks to the team of instructors from CS Watersports and Easyriders for delivering this grass roots focused project with huge amounts of enthusiasm and energy.

By working in partnership with schools, instructors and national organisations, this approach has the potential to develop in to a scalable programme that brings adventure, movement and new experiences to students across the country.

Preparation is already underway for more grants to take the project to more locations nationwide.
